Blue City on a summer morning
Bantu accompanied me on a walk through the blue city, he gave me great insight into the history of Jodhpur and how the building got to be the incredible shade of blue. An excellent tour!
This morning we took the walking tour and it was absolutely amazing. It was a great way to experience the blue city and enjoy some chai tea and samosa. Our tour guide was very friendly and his knowledge is great. He was also very fluent in English.

Bantu the Great!
Bantu was not only incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his city, but also remarkably kind and great to talk to about Rajasthan, India, spirituality and life, as well as more important things, like cricket. I felt like I had known him for years. His tour really is an authentic slice of beautiful Jodhpur. You will not find a better walking tour in Jodhpur, I am sure of it. I hope to cross paths with you again some day.

Also worth noting, is that Bantu did not take me to any shops, something I was extremely grateful for. Too many tour guides in India take travellers to shops, hoping to score a commission. Loved it. Highly highly recommend!!!
During four weeks of travelling in India and many many short tours Bantu was probably the best! I highly recommend him and his tours. Bantu was knowledgeable, passionate and the tour had no tricks to it. We visited no shops. I learnt so much and was able to totally relax as Bantu is a really good person delivering great tours. A memorable tour in the blue city.

A must do when in Jodhpur!
A morning well spent learning all about the heritage and culture behind this wonderful city. Bantu was such a kind and knowledgeable guide. I would never have been able to find all of the beautiful corners that he showed us by myself. He was very patient in answering all our questions and waiting while we took MANY pictures. Excellent few hours in the blue city

Bantu shows you all the picturesque hidden gems you won't find on your own
The Blue City walk with Bantu was exceptional. He explained everything so well and showed me all the most photogenic locations. He was very patient while I snapped away. It was one of the best tours I have ever done, just go for it!

Exceptional

We saw and learned so much!
Really enjoyed our tour with Bantu. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient as we stopped for many, many photos. He left us off at the rear gate to the fort (at our request) then met us later by the clocktower for samosas and chai. A real gentleman!
Bantu is very flexible with the start time. If you want to see the Blue City fully alive, ask for a time after the markets open.
